How to enable GST API access ?

The GST portal allows users to enable API access so that their partners can fetch GST reports directly. This significantly reduces the workload on the GST account owner to share documents. To enable access to GST API based fetch, please follow the following steps:

Note: Please ensure API access is enabled for all your GST accounts.

1. Step 1: Click on https://services.gst.gov.in/services/login to open the GST portal.

2. Step 2: Login to the GST portal using your User ID and password.

3. Step 3: On the top right corner, click on your profile name and then click My Profile.

4. Step 4: On the left side of the page, click on Manage API Access.

5. Step 5: Click on Yes to enable API access.

6. Step 6: Click on the dropdown for Duration and select 30 days.

7. Step 7: Click on Confirm to enable API access.

8. Step 8: Once you have enabled API access, please go back to the GST page of AICA product and click on Fetch GST. You can now submit an OTP and fetch your GST data automatically.
